The PD700X offers cost-efficient, dependable monitoring for high-voltage power assets.

PD71X

High-performance Partial Discharge Locator
Up to 12 Customisable channels
Up to 200 MS/s per channel
Wireless phase synchronisation
CIGRE compliant (5pC)
Real-time PRPD, PRPS, waveform and PD location analysis

The PD71X is a twelve-channel portable multifunction tester used for real-time partial discharge (PD) detection and diagnosis on GIS, transformers, cables and switchgear. The PD71X supports up to 12 channels in total, combining UHF, HF and ultrasonic AE detection technologies. Its flexible modular design means the channels can be customised at the time of order to optimally meet the requirements of different measurement scenarios. PD71X automatically identifies, locates and comprehensively diagnoses PD defects. Use with a portable battery pack to create a powerful portable PD detector for spot checks. Connect to the local AC mains to turn it into a high-performance temporary online monitoring system.

AC10

Partial Discharge Acoustic Imager

Acoustic Imager
Controlled by a Smartphone or Tablet
2Kg handheld weight
4 hours of typical battery life
Sound analysis from 25 Hz to 96 kHz
Positioning from 2 kHz to 96 kHz
4:3 camera with 66 deg. horizontal angle of view

The AC10 Acoustic Imager is a portable acoustic imaging accessory for smartphones and tablets, usable either as a handheld unit or deployed on a tripod. With 162 high-sensitivity digital MEMS ultrasonic microphones and a built-in camera, the AC10 can locate and visualise PD and other abnormal acoustic or vibration phenomena safely and efficiently.

Its microphone distribution is based on an equal-area multi-arm helix, which ensures accurate acoustic positioning in the analytical frequency range of 2 kHz to 96 kHz.

PD74i

Smart Partial Discharge Detector
Small size and multifunctional
Real-time data analysis
Mobile and Desktop Apps
Built-in Li-Ion Battery
Powerbank Compatible

Smart Partial Discharge Detector

PD74i wireless Partial Discharge Detector based on an intelligent, accurate and portable design concept. It provides various techniques for better PD recognition, such as HF, UHF, TEV and Acoustic (contact/non-contact).

SmartPD is an Android application used for operating the PD74i. Using a smartphone or tablet, it allows you to see real-time data of the inspected object and save measurements for future analysis. Wi-Fi and Mobile Broadband gives flexibility in sharing data with colleagues.

The recorded data can be played back at any time. Text, pictures, video, and other information can be attached to any data, which makes on-site testing paperless. Data and attachments can be shared via real-time communication software or email.

The desktop application makes it convenient to analyse data collected on-site. SmartPD allows streaming of the measuring data and related media to a remote server. The asset supervisor can assign tasks to the staff and collect real-time data from the command centre.

Legacy Equipment

PD404

Partial Discharge Monitoring for HF PD

Complete Partial Discharge monitoring for HF PD
Up to 6 channels
SCADA via IEC 61850
Ethernet or RS-485 Modbus
Frequency Bandwidth 100 kHz to 15 MHz
Amplitude Range >60 dB
Time of arrival accuracy <1ns for fibre <200ns for GPS

With the PD404, any HF sensor can be used; however, its additional features enable it to be used for HV cables. HV cables have additional requirements when it comes to PD monitoring. The length of the cable creates difficulties when locating the PD in the cable.
